As long as I can remember, I have always wanted to work with animals. I grew up in a small northern community in BC and have always been passionate about the outdoors and the wildlife. I graduated from the Animal Health Technology program from GPRC Fairview Campus, I wrote my licensing exam and landed my first job with Dog and Cat Hospital in 2015. I have been with the clinic ever since!
Nutritional coaching and research is a passion of mine. It became apparent quickly that nutrition is a tool that empowers our pet owners to prevent, slow and treat diseases of their pets from home. My long term goal is to become a Veterinary Technician Specialist of Nutrition. I am extremely passionate about senior pets, the relationship that you develop with the client and the patient over the years is something that is truly special and unique to veterinary medicine.
I required emergency dental surgery after my first time surfing in Costa Rica - (I'm ready to get back on the horse!)
